UPPER STREET EVENTS (U.S.E.) – CORPORATE REORGANISATION
From October 1st 2009, Business Design Centre Group Ltd has de-merged its group of companies into separate entities and as part of this process Upper Street Events has become a stand alone Limited company. The current shareholders of the Business Design Centre Group Ltd are still the shareholders of the new Ltd business but Upper Street Events Ltd (USE) now has its own board of directors.
Upper Street Events Ltd. is an award winning company which organises a portfolio of trade and consumer exhibitions including respected events such as New Designers, London Art Fair, Country Living Magazine Fairs, The Cycle Show and Caffe Culture. USE has been bucking the economic trend and saw 25% growth in profits for 2008/09 with the acquisition of Move It (Dance) and The Language show in 2008 and the very successful launch of Gadget Show Live in April 2009.
USE’s culture is young-spirited and ambitious with strong creative sales and marketing teams. Its core leadership is made up of Managing Director, Paul Byrom, Commercial Director, Dan Holmes and Director, Isobel Dennis. Together they have pushed the company forward and, with the senior management team, are focused on continuing to grow USE through further acquisitions, launches and building on the current established events.
A key to the company’s success is USE’s passionate and knowledgeable staff who pride themselves in understanding their sectors and building strong relationships with their clients. All staff employed under Business Design Centre Group Ltd and engaged in organising Upper Street Events shows have been transferred to the Limited company.
The individual Upper Street Events Ltd. shows are professional and stylish and represent the very best in their respective sectors. In addition, the strong and successful partnerships, with sponsors, associations and media, contribute greatly to the richness of each show’s content.
